Shipping policy

designare ships from Reykjavík, Iceland.

Most orders — apparel, tote bags, books and other small items — ship worldwide. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and what's in your cart.

Vintage furniture and other large pieces are handled separately. Because each piece is one of a kind and dimensions vary, shipping for furniture is quoted on request rather than calculated automatically at checkout. If you'd like to have a furniture piece sent outside Iceland — to the EU, the UK, the US or elsewhere — please get in touch via our contact page before ordering, so we can arrange a quote with an appropriate freight carrier. Local pickup in Reykjavík is also welcome.

Processing time. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment, excluding weekends and Icelandic public holidays.

Delivery times vary by destination and carrier. Once your order ships you'll receive a tracking number by email, where available.

Customs and import duties. International orders may be subject to customs charges, import duties or VAT in the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the order total.

Lost or damaged packages. If your order doesn't arrive within a reasonable time, or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we'll work with you to resolve it.
